How can one help?
To sign up as a donor in one of the following options:
1. One can support a listed celebrity in Nottingwood Castle by entering name and contact details and entering the name of who the donor wants to be Knight or Maiden. The Nottingwood Administration will send a confirmation with a reference number. Once a donation will has been made, the Administration will ask the donor which personal information he or she wants on the site. The celebrity and eventually the beneficiary will be made aware of the given support.
2. One can nominate a not listed celebrity for a place in Nottingwood Castle by entering name and contact details and specifying the data of the celebrity that one thinks to belong in Nottingwood Castle and whose Knight or Maiden one would want to be. The Nottingwood Administration will send a confirmation with a reference number. Once a donation will have been made, the Administration will publish the nomination within Nottingwood Castle and will keep the donor informed of further nominations for the same person. The Administration will ask which personal information the donor wants on the site.
Once 100 nominations for the same person will have been made, the Nottingwood Administration will make every effort to get the celebrity willing to participate as King or Queen of Nottingwood Castle. If there will be no 100 nominations for the proposed celebrity within 6 months, the donor will be given the opportunity to assign the donation to another celebrity or to choose a Project and become resident of Nottingwood Forest.
3. One can select a listed project and become a resident of Nottingwood Forest by entering name and contact details and entering the project which one wants to support. The Nottingwood Administration will send a confirmation with a reference number. Once a donation will have been made, the Administration will ask the donor which personal information he or she wants on the site. The Participant will be informed of the support and the donor will receive the contact details of the Sheriff.
If the donation is more than 1000 euro, the donor becomes Lord or Lady of Nottingwood and the Participant – if able to means of communication - will be asked whether he or she wants to maintain direct contact with the donor.
4. One can nominate a not listed project and become a resident of Nottingwood Forest by entering name and contact details and as much information as possible on the project that one thinks to belong on the map Notting World (note: the less information, the less likely it will get support from visitors on the site).
The Nottingwood Administartion will send a confirmation with a reference number. Once a donation will have been made, the initiative will be put on the site for further information and support.
Upon reaching 50 donors or at least 30% of the amount required for the Project with a minimum of 2500 euro, Nottingwood takes the initiative and the project will be put on the site as a green Project for further financial support. In that case, Nottingwood will look for a Sheriff that will be responsible for the project assuming that the project is not already located within the area of a Sheriff.
In addition, the Administration will ask which personal information the donor wants on the site. The Participant will be informed of the support and the donor will receive the contact details of the Sheriff once he is found.
If the donation is more than 1000 euro, the donor becomes Lord or Lady of Nottingwood and the Participant – if able to means of communication - will be asked whether he or she wants to maintain direct contact with the donor.
If the proposed Project does not reach the minimum requirements to be included as a Project within six months after the nomination, the donor will be given the opportunity to assign the donation to an alternative Project.
5. One can be one of the first governors of Nottingwood and find a Queen or King who is willing to donate by entering name and contact details and specify as much information as possible. Nottingwood Administration will be in contact to sign a contract to appoint the interested to Governor.
6. One can make Nottingwood insanely famous by "liking" or "sharing" the Facebook page, following Nottingwood on Twitter, checking the website, telling about Nottingwood and searching for possible projects, Sheriffs and so on.
